Canonical ID: `a46de53e-a18e-49ff-bbc0-05e7564bfcf3`

[Monumental](/companies/monumental.md) says its bricklaying robots laid every brick of a house in [Almere](/locations/almere-netherlands.md), the [Netherlands](/locations/netherlands.md), including a curved wall, different brick types and bonds, and recessed lettering in the brickwork.

Co-founder and CEO [Salar al Khafaji](/people/salar-al-khafaji.md) said on 28 October that 15 more houses would follow in the coming weeks. Monumental works as a subcontractor: the builder pays for a finished wall and Monumental supplies the robots and the people who operate them.
