Canonical ID: `bef2168d-e389-4dfb-878b-9cd55af625ed`

TUM and [NEURA Robotics](/companies/neura-robotics.md) opened the TUM RoboGym at [LabCampus](/locations/labcampus-munich-airport-germany.md), the innovation hub at Munich Airport, in October 2026. It is described as developed by TUM MIRMI and NEURA Robotics and as the first site in the global NEURA Gym network. Reports say around 100 humanoid and service robots will train in 48 dedicated training cells.

NEURA says it is unveiling the next generation of its [4NE1](/models/neura-4ne-1.md) humanoid, which it says will also become part of the TUM RoboGym environment. NEURA's CEO [David Reger](/people/david-reger.md) says the robot is designed for series production (Logistik Heute). The sources do not state that a 4NE1 is already working in the RoboGym, so this is recorded as announced. This record covers the next-generation 4NE1; the model record may describe an earlier generation.
