# What data does 1X NEO collect in your home?

1X NEO is a record, not a rumor. NEO ships teleoperation-assisted: in Expert Mode a remote 1X operator in a VR headset takes control for tasks it cannot do autonomously, which means a human can see into your home today (confirmed by a Wall Street Journal hands-on review). It costs $20,000 or $499 per month. What 1X has not disclosed on any record we hold: exactly what camera and audio data is retained, where it is stored, and how you delete it.
