On October [XXX], 2025 at 3:57 PM PT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Los Angeles, California was in a collision involving a heavy truck in a parking lot at [XXX]. 
The Waymo AV was traveling westbound in a parking lot at [XXX] when it slowed to a stop to yield to a heavy truck that was facing west and executing a reversing turn into a loading dock parking stall at the south side of the parking lot. The heavy truck came to a stop, proceeded forward a short distance, and then came to a stop again. While the heavy truck was stopped, the Waymo AV proceeded forward to pass to the right of the heavy truck. As the Waymo AV was passing the heavy truck, the heavy truck once again initiated a reversing turn towards the parking stall and the Waymo AV came to a stop to yield to the heavy truck. The heavy truck continued to reverse and the front right corner of the heavy truck's trailer made contact with the rear left of the stationary Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. The Waymo AV sustained damage.
