On November [XXX], 2025 at 10:01 AM MT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Phoenix, Arizona was in a collision involving a passenger car in a parking lot at [XXX]. 
The Waymo AV was parked facing west in a parking lot at [XXX] with hazard lights activated for a passenger pick-up. While the Waymo AV was parked, a passenger car traveling westbound in the parking lot passed the Waymo AV on the left, made a left turn, and came to a stop. While the passenger car was stopped in front of and to the left of the Waymo AV, the Waymo AV proceeded forward to travel westbound in the parking lot. As the Waymo AV was passing behind the passenger car, the passenger car reversed, and the rear of the passenger car made contact with the left side of the Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. Both vehicles sustained damage. The passenger in the Waymo AV was not belted at the time of the collision.
