On March [XXX], 2026 at 9:16 AM PT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Mountain View, California was in a collision involving an SUV in a parking lot near [XXX]. 

The Waymo AV was stopped facing east in a parking stall in a parking lot near [XXX] while it was in process of executing a two-point turn. While the Waymo AV was stopped, an SUV that was traveling northbound in the parking lot stopped in-lane in front and to the left of the Waymo AV. As the Waymo AV began to proceed forward out of the parking stall and towards the right, the SUV began to reverse, and the rear left side of the SUV made contact with the front left side of the Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. Both vehicles sustained damage.
