On March [XXX], 2026 at 12:47 AM MT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Phoenix, Arizona was in a collision involving an SUV on [XXX] near [XXX].

The Waymo AV was traveling eastbound in the left lane on [XXX] when an SUV traveling at a high rate of speed approached the Waymo AV from behind. As the SUV approached the Waymo AV, the SUV began to change lanes to the right, and the left side of the SUV made contact with the rear right side of the Waymo AV. The SUV then continued maneuvering to the right, exited the roadway, and the front of the SUV made contact with a residential brick wall in front of a driveway on the south curb of [XXX]. The brick wall collapsed after contact. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. The SUV and brick wall sustained damage.
