On March [XXX], 2026 at 1:58 AM PT a Waymo Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Daly City, California was in a collision involving a passenger car on the [XXX] off-ramp near [XXX].

The Waymo AV was traveling southbound in the left lane on the [XXX] off-ramp when the Waymo AV began to slow to yield to a passenger car traveling northbound, against the proper direction of traffic, in the Waymo AV's lane of travel. The Waymo AV braked to yield to the passenger car, the passenger car maneuvered to the right as it proceeded forward, and the front left side of the passenger car made contact with the front left side of the Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. Both vehicles sustained damage.
