On July [XXX], 2026 at 11:41 AM CDT a [Waymo](/companies/waymo.md) Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Dallas, Texas was in a collision involving two SUVs on [XXX] at [XXX].

The Waymo AV was traveling southwestbound in the second from the left lane on [XXX] when it slowed to a stop prior to entering the intersection with [XXX] to yield to prior collision within the intersection. While the Waymo AV was stopped, a first SUV initially stopped behind the Waymo AV began changing lanes to the left adjacent lane, and as it was changing lanes, the front left side of the first SUV made contact with the front right side of a second SUV that was traveling southwestbound in the leftmost lane of [XXX]. As a result of this contact, the first SUV the front right side of the first SUV made contact with the rear left side of the stationary Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. All three vehicles involved sustained damage.
