On August [XXX], 2026, at 1:35 PM PDT a [Waymo](/companies/waymo.md) Autonomous Vehicle ("Waymo AV") operating in Inglewood, [California](/locations/california.md) was in a collision involving a raised pavement at the entrance to a parking lot on [XXX] near [XXX].

The Waymo AV was traveling northbound on [XXX] when it initiated a left turn into a parking lot on the west side of the roadway with its left turn signal activated. As the Waymo AV was turning left into the parking lot entrance, it approached an elevated ramp, and the undercarriage of the Waymo AV made contact with the raised pavement at the beginning of the ramp. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. The Waymo AV sustained damage.
