On June [XXX], 2026 at 2:54 PM, an [AVRIDE](/companies/avride.md) autonomous vehicle (the "AVRIDE AV") was in a collision in Dallas, TX on [XXX] near [XXX]. The AVRIDE AV was traveling eastbound on [XXX] in autonomous mode when it approached a passenger car parked on the left side of the roadway. As the AVRIDE AV approached the parked vehicle, the driver-side door of the passenger car was opened into the roadway. There was insufficient room to open the door safely without interfering with traffic.  The AVRIDE AV continued traveling straight ahead, resulting in light contact between its left side mirror and the driver-side door of the passenger car. Neither vehicle sustained damage. No injuries were reported.
