Tokio Marine HCC International and UK broker Adrian Flux launched what they call the UK's first household insurance policy for domestic humanoid robots. Adrian Flux sells the cover through its home insurance and TMHCCI underwrites it. It covers the robot, damage it causes to the home, personal liability and emergency recovery or safe disablement after a malfunction. The partners expect domestic robots in UK homes from 2027.
