Professor at Beihang University (北京航空航天大学) and pioneer of medical robotics in China. Born 1960, he began building a medical robotics research team at Beihang in 1997 and developed the [Remebot](/companies/remebot) stereotactic neurosurgery robot system with his team, completing clinical testing and the first telesurgery in the early 2000s. He serves as Honorary Director of the Beihang University Robot Institute and President of the IR AI & Robotics Academy. His research spans service robotics, advanced manufacturing, and the industrialization of medical robots in China.
