As a result of this contact, the front of the initially stopped passenger car then made contact with the rear of the stationary Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. All three vehicles sustained damage.\n\nWaymo is reporting this crash under Request No. 1 of Standing General Order 2021-01 because of airbag deployment.
