As the SUV was about to exit the intersection, a pickup truck traveling northbound on [XXX] in the rightmost lane proceeded straight through the intersection against a red light, and the front of the pickup truck made contact with the rear right side of the SUV. As a result of this contact, the SUV spun clockwise across [XXX], entering the Waymo AV's lane of travel. The Waymo AV came to a stop to yield to the SUV, and the front right side of the SUV made contact with the rear left side of the stationary Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode, and a test driver was present in the driver's seating position. All three vehicles sustained damage.\n\nWaymo is reporting this crash under Request No. 1 of Standing General Order 2021-01 because of airbag deployment.
