While the heavy truck was stopped, the Waymo AV proceeded forward to pass to the right of the heavy truck. As the Waymo AV was passing the heavy truck, the heavy truck once again initiated a reversing turn towards the parking stall and the Waymo AV came to a stop to yield to the heavy truck. The heavy truck continued to reverse and the front right corner of the heavy truck's trailer made contact with the rear left of the stationary Waymo AV. At the time of the impact, the Waymo AV's Level 4 ADS was engaged in autonomous mode. The Waymo AV sustained damage.\n\nWaymo is reporting this crash under Request No. 2 of Standing General Order 2021-01.
