What the Ropet KAMOMO knows about you

Your location

Ropet automatically collects approximate geographic location at city level via IP address; the companion app also uses geofencing to detect when the user is coming home, providing real-time location access through the smartphone.

Training their AI

Your content is not used to train outside AI models. With your consent, photos are sent to cloud AI services like OpenAI to generate personalized comic-style artwork.

Selling your data

Does not sell your data or use it for advertising, collects only the minimum data needed, and lets you adjust or revoke camera, microphone, and other permissions at any time.

Sent to the cloud

Ropet uploads user photos to the cloud where they are processed by AI models to create comic-style artworks; voice commands and interaction data are also processed via cloud-based AI services including OpenAI, though Ropet contractually prohibits third-party AI providers from using the data for model training.

Shared with others

Ropet does not sell personal information and does not provide data to third parties for commercial marketing purposes; data is shared with service providers including Google Cloud for hosting and OpenAI for AI language processing under contractual restrictions.

Kept on the device

Most core functions including memories and thoughts run offline on-device. ChatGPT is only used for conversations when the device is connected to WiFi.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion through the app or by emailing customerservice@ropetai.com. Data is stored on Google Cloud and encrypted in transit and at rest.

How long they keep it

Ropet retains personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in the privacy policy, including satisfying legal, accounting, or reporting requirements; users can delete device cloud data via Device Authorization Revocation and delete their entire account via the app.
