Terms of Service

Acceptance

By accessing DEPLOY's consumer surface (deploy.report), the registry (registry.deploy.report), or the API endpoints under /v1/, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

DEPLOY operates a public registry of physical AI deployments (companies, robot models, deployments, locations, incidents, and regulations) and a consumer surface that renders the subset of that record relevant to humanoid-robot buyers. Content is sourced from publicly available references; each indexable entity carries explicit source attribution. Both surfaces expose human-readable pages and structured API endpoints rendering the same underlying data.

Accuracy, sourcing, and disclaimer

We work to keep registry information accurate and properly attributed. Every published entry cites its sources. Entries are researched and checked against those sources by automated agents, which fetch each cited source and confirm the facts it supports before the entry is published. Entries are not individually reviewed by a person. Corrections follow the same checks. Nevertheless: the service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Information may be incomplete, out of date, or in error. Do not rely on DEPLOY alone for decisions with safety, legal, or financial consequences. Verify against primary sources.

Corrections and operator responses

Operators, regulators, or other parties named in registry entries can request corrections or submit responses by emailing corrections@deploy.report. For incident entries, an explicit operator response is recorded on the entry itself and rendered beneath the claim. Material errors are corrected via append-only status events; original claims remain visible as historical record alongside the correction or retraction notice.

Free use

DEPLOY is free to read and free to cite. Without a license, you may use it for personal, research, journalistic, educational, and reference purposes.

  • Read access (the directory pages, consumer pages, and the public /v1/ endpoints) is freely available for these uses, subject to reasonable rate limits.
  • You may quote and cite individual facts from DEPLOY in articles, research, analysis, and other editorial content, with attribution.
  • Do not abuse the service: no automated access that degrades availability, no bypassing rate limits, no attempts to compromise the system or its data.
  • Write access (POST routes) is gated by a shared-secret header and reserved for internal use.

AI assistants, agents, and search engines

We want DEPLOY to be read by machines. AI assistants, AI agents, large language model products, and search engines may read, crawl, index, cite, and answer questions from DEPLOY content, including through the API and the MCP server, provided that answers drawing on DEPLOY attribute it with the relevant entity's canonical URL. This ordinary indexing and answering is free and is not bulk extraction under these terms.

Attribution

Whenever you use, quote, or redistribute DEPLOY data, cite the specific entity's canonical URL (for example, registry.deploy.report/companies/<slug>).

Commercial use

Using DEPLOY data, in whole or in substantial part, in any commercial product, service, database, platform, report, client deliverable, insurance or underwriting material, or advisory engagement requires a written commercial license from DEPLOY. Brief citation of individual facts, with attribution, in editorial or analytical content remains permitted without a license.

Bulk extraction

Systematic or repeated extraction of substantial portions of the registry by any means (the API, crawling, scraping, export, or an agent acting for you), or storing such extracts in a separate database, requires a commercial license. Ordinary indexing and answering by AI assistants and search engines, as described above, is excluded from this restriction.

No competing datasets

Without a commercial license, you may not use DEPLOY data to create, populate, train, seed, or validate a database, registry, directory, or dataset that substitutes for or competes with DEPLOY.

API access

The public endpoints are offered for the free uses described above. DEPLOY may require API keys, enforce rate limits, or suspend access for use that exceeds these terms. Commercial volume and bulk access are available under license. The full registry download needs a free key, issued at /access when you accept these terms; pages, the /v1/ API, and the MCP server need no key.

Commercial licensing

A commercial license can cover commercial use rights, bulk and historical access, the change feed, and custom coverage. To discuss one, email hello@deploy.report. Commercial licenses are governed by their own written agreement, which controls over these terms where the two conflict.

Intellectual property and database rights

The structure, presentation, and editorial commentary published on DEPLOY are the property of DEPLOY. Underlying facts (a company exists, a robot model has these specs, an incident occurred at this date) are not copyrightable; structured representations and curated commentary are.

DEPLOY claims all rights in the selection, arrangement, structure, verification, and compilation of the registry, including copyright in its structured representations and, where applicable, the sui generis database right under UK and EU law. Subject to these terms, we grant a non-exclusive license to view and reference DEPLOY content with attribution.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DEPLOY and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. The total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you have paid to use the service (which, for the public consumer surface and registry, is zero).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in California.
