Hanwha Aerospace is South Korea's leading defense and aerospace company, developing unmanned ground vehicles including the Arion-SMET 6x6 UGV and its GRUNT variant. A subsidiary of Hanwha Group formerly known as Samsung Techwin, the company manufactures artillery systems, armored vehicles, aircraft engines, and rocket propulsion, and is Korea's only gas turbine engine maker. Its K9 self-propelled howitzer has been exported to Poland, Romania, Finland, Norway, and Estonia, making it one of the world's most prolific artillery exporters.
