Removal of unverified bulk-ingested records

2026-06-10

Between June 5 and June 8, 2026, an automated ingestion process added a large batch of records to the registry without the primary-source verification our pipeline requires. The records carried a “reviewed” status they had not earned, which let them appear as verified entries. We caught this during an integrity review and removed them.

We removed every record we could not verify against a resolving primary source:

  • 3,486 deployment records, including 2,450 that cited a source domain which does not resolve.
  • 1,535 patent records: real patent numbers attached to entities the patents do not pertain to.
  • 1,440 model records in generic or non-physical-AI categories with no verifiable basis.
  • 236 company records outside the registry’s physical-AI scope.

We independently re-verified 216 real robot models against manufacturer pages, regulators, or primary press, confirmed their relevance, and restored them to the index.

A smaller set of records that name real entities but whose specific claims we could not yet source remain held back from the index, pending re-verification. We did not release them on unverified sources, and we did not invent sources to close the gaps.

Every removed record is archived and recoverable. The registry’s standard is that a verified record is worth more than a complete one. That standard is what surfaced this batch, and what governed how we cleaned it up.

Out of registry scope. EEOC AI-in-employment guidance applies primarily to non-physical AI (hiring algorithms, evaluation systems, employment selection tools), only tangentially connected to physical AI through humanoid workplace deployments. Registry scope is physical AI (robots operating in the physical world). Filed in error; suppressed from aggregate views per constitutional seam #4 while canonical URL preserves the correction.

Corrections require supporting documentation: official records, primary sources, or verifiable links. Submissions are reviewed against the same source-quality tier rubric that applies to every record on file. We correct the record by appending a new status event, not by silent edit. The original record state stays in the history for audit.
