Waymo recalls 3800 robotaxis after vehicle drove into flooded roadway
Waymo issued a voluntary recall of approximately 3800 robotaxis to fix software that could allow vehicles to drive into flooded roadways. The recall was triggered after a Waymo vehicle was swept away by floodwaters in San Antonio in late April. The NHTSA recall covers 5th and 6th generation ADS systems.
