French goods-to-person warehouse-robotics company founded in 2015 by Romain Moulin and Renaud Heitz, headquartered in Croix, France. Its Skypod system uses robots that climb storage racks up to roughly 36 feet for high-density storage and retrieval. In January 2022 Exotec raised a $335 million round at a $2 billion valuation led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, with 83North and [Dell technologies](/companies/dell-technologies) Capital participating, becoming what it describes as France's first industrial unicorn.
