Recycleye partnered with FANUC to develop a retrofittable and affordable automated sorting solution for the waste management industry. FANUC's automation engineers designed Recycleye Robotics to weigh 75 percent less than existing robotic waste pickers, using FANUC 6-axis robotic arms paired with Recycleye Vision AI.

Recycleye is a London-based AI and robotics waste sorting company founded in 2019 by CEO Victor Dewulf and CTO Peter Hedley, spun out of Imperial College London. The company combines computer vision (Recycleye Vision) with 6-axis robotic arms (Recycleye Robotics) to identify and sort recyclable materials at 55 picks per minute. Its technology is deployed across the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, and the US. In April 2026, Recycleye was acquired by [CP Group](https://cpgrp.com), a leading US-based MRF integrator, expanding CP Group's AI-driven sorting portfolio.
