Axon acquires Dedrone

On May 6 2024 Axon (Nasdaq: AXON) announced a definitive agreement to acquire Dedrone, an airspace-security company whose AI/ML command-and-control platform detects, tracks, identifies, and mitigates unauthorized drones while enabling authorized drone operations. Axon said the deal (terms undisclosed) was expected to close in the second half of 2024 and would support Drones as First Responders and counter-drone public-safety use cases (Axon).
