Panasonic x Tesla (Gigafactory Nevada)
Panasonic is the battery-cell manufacturing partner at Tesla's Gigafactory Nevada (Giga Nevada), the world's largest battery factory. Panasonic invested ~.6 billion to equip and operate the cell production lines, while Tesla owns and operates the facility. The partnership has been operational since January 2016.

Panasonic Holdings Corporation is a Japanese multinational electronics conglomerate headquartered in Kadoma, Osaka, and a critical supply-chain partner in the physical-AI ecosystem. Through its Panasonic Energy subsidiary, it is the battery-cell manufacturing partner at [Tesla](/companies/tesla)'s Gigafactory Nevada, and co-founded the Prime Planet Energy & Solutions battery joint venture with [Toyota](/companies/toyota). Its Industrial Solutions division supplies factory-automation components, sensors, and industrial robots used in manufacturing lines worldwide.
