Spirit AeroSystems was Boeings largest supplier building fuselages and other aerostructures for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Boeing completed its acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems in mid-2025 bringing the supplier back in-house to improve quality and supply chain control.
