Dongguan Poweramp x Skydio battery supply
Dongguan Poweramp Technology, a TDK subsidiary, was the sole battery supplier for Skydio's drones. In October 2024, Chinese authorities ordered Dongguan Poweramp to sever all ties with Skydio in retaliation for US arms sales to Taiwan, creating a critical supply chain crisis for the US drone manufacturer
