Hitachi, FANUC, and Preferred Networks (Jan 31 2018) announced agreement to form Intelligent Edge System, LLC on Apr 2 2018 (30 million yen capital, equal 10 million yen stakes) to develop Intelligent Edge Systems using AI between cloud and edge devices such as machine tools, industrial machinery, and robots.
