The company pioneered autonomous haulage with its [FrontRunner Autonomous Haulage System](/models/komatsu-frontrunner-ahs), achieving the world's first commercial AHS deployment in 2008 and commissioning its 1,000th autonomous ultra-class haul truck in April 2026.
