Rheinmetall is a Dusseldorf-based German defense and automotive group developing the [Mission Master](/models/mission-master-sp) family of Autonomous Uncrewed Ground Systems (A-UGS). The Mission Master SP is a fully electric, compact UGV designed for forward and last-mile resupply, casualty evacuation, and reconnaissance missions. Rheinmetall was awarded a multimillion-dollar contract by the Japanese Ministry of Defence to supply a fleet of autonomous UGVs, and the Mission Master is in active use with military forces.
