NIO Power x Geely Holding (battery swap and charging)
On Sep 27 2026 NIO Inc. announced definitive agreements with Zhejiang Geely Holding Group subsidiaries for cross-investment in battery swapping and charging. A Geely Holding subsidiary contributes 100% of Yiyi Internet Technology (Chongqing) plus RMB640 million cash for 30.0% of NIO Power (NIO Energy Investment (Hubei) Co., Ltd.) at approximately RMB16 billion post-money; NIO China retains 63.6% and Wuhan Guangchuang 6.4%.
Concurrently NIO China subscribes for 10.0% of Zhejiang Haohan Energy Technology (Geely charging), with that cash used to buy certain NIO charging assets.
