PostNord x Einride
On September 25 2025 Einride announced a cabless electric autonomous goods delivery from Sweden to Norway on behalf of PostNord at the Orje border crossing, described as a world-first cabless electric autonomous border crossing without a human driver onboard. The demo was part of the EU co-funded MODI project and used Norway's Digitoll digital customs path via partner Q-Free.
PostNord Norway's May-Kristin S. Willoch said the milestone shows how autonomous and digital technologies can reshape transport. Cite (PR Newswire / Einride).
