Shield AI acquires Aechelon Technology
Shield AI announced on June 22, 2026 that it completed its acquisition of Aechelon Technology, a visual simulation and synthetic-environment company whose products support U.S. military and allied simulation programs including the Joint Simulation Environment. Shield AI said the deal follows close of a $2 billion financing package valuing the company at $12.7 billion post-money.
