On August 21 2023 Sierra Space and Redwire announced a strategic partnership for commercial pharmaceutical and biotech R&D and manufacturing in LEO. Redwire is delivering biotechnology and manufacturing hardware (including large-molecule crystallization gear, thermally conditioned stowage, industrial crystal facilities, and a gradient-temperature furnace) for integration into Sierra Space's LIFE habitat platform, with automation/robotics expertise and deliveries expected to begin in Q4 2023 per the release.
