UMC x Intel 12nm Foundry Collaboration
Intel and UMC announced a long-term agreement to collaborate on a 12nm semiconductor process platform targeting high-growth markets including mobile and networking. The platform will be developed and manufactured at Intel fabs in Arizona with production expected to begin in 2027 leveraging UMC foundry experience and Intel US manufacturing capacity.
