Partnership
Vast Space x SpaceX
Vast announced on May 10 2023 plans for Haven-1, described as the world's first commercial space station, to launch on a SpaceX Falcon 9 to LEO (then NET August 2025 in the release; later updates shifted timelines), followed by Vast-1, a four-person SpaceX Dragon human spaceflight docking with Haven-1 for up to 30 days. Vast also secured an option with SpaceX for an additional crewed mission; SpaceX is to provide Falcon 9 launch, Dragon transport, and crew training. Treat schedule and seat offering as company-stated at announcement (Vast; Business Wire).
