Angus Pacala
Co-founder and CEO of Ouster (founded 2015), the San Francisco digital lidar company. Pacala co-founded Ouster alongside Mark Frichtl with the thesis of building lidar as a purely digital device using CMOS imaging arrays. Ouster went public via SPAC (Colonnade Acquisition Corp) in March 2021 and merged with Velodyne Lidar in February 2023 to form the combined Ouster entity. Pacala is named as co-inventor on multiple Ouster digital lidar patents.
