Anirudh Devgan

President and CEO of Cadence Design Systems since December 2021, and a member of the Board of Directors since August 2021. Previously served as President of Cadence from 2017 to 2021, overseeing all business groups, R&D, sales, and strategy. Joined Cadence in 2012 as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Digital & Signoff and System Verification groups.

Prior to Cadence, he was Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Custom Design Business Unit at Magma Design Automation, and held management and technical positions at IBM. An IEEE Fellow and member of the National Academy of Engineering, he holds 27 U.S. patents. Received a B.Tech in electrical engineering from IIT Delhi, and M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
