AyJay Lasater

CTO and Co-founder of Albedo Space, an American aerospace company developing Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) satellites for defense and earth observation. He co-founded Albedo in 2020 with Topher Haddad and Winston Tri. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an MS in Mechatronics, bringing expertise in physics-based design, in-house engineering, and unconventional problem-solving to satellite development. The company launched its first satellite, Clarity-1, aboard SpaceX's Transporter-13 mission in March 2025.
