Bruno Maisonnier
Founder of Aldebaran Robotics (2005, Paris), the company behind the NAO humanoid robot and the Pepper social robot. SoftBank acquired Aldebaran in 2012 and renamed it SoftBank Robotics in 2014. Bruno left in 2017.
He later founded Enchanted Tools in 2021, maker of the Miroki robot. Under his leadership, Aldebaran/SoftBank Robotics became the dominant platform for research and social robotics globally with 10,000+ NAO units and 20,000+ Pepper units.
