Christoph Schweizer
Founder of Schweizer Electronic AG in 1849 in Schramberg, Germany, initially producing clock faces. The company expanded into printed circuit boards in 1958, was listed at the Stuttgart and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges (ticker SCE, ISIN DE000515623) in 1989, and is now managed by the sixth generation of the founding family.
His instinct for market potential and openness to innovations from France and Switzerland drove growth in the company's first decades. Today SCHWEIZER is a technology leader in PCB solutions, power electronics, and embedding technology for automotive and industrial applications.
