Dave DeWalt
Founder, Managing Director, and CEO of NightDragon, a venture capital and advisory firm focused on cybersecurity, safety, security, and privacy. A four-time CEO, DeWalt has led some of the most influential companies in cybersecurity over a 30+ year career: CEO of FireEye (2012–2016, Chairman through 2017), CEO of McAfee (2007–2011, leading it through its acquisition by Intel), and CEO of Documentum (acquired by EMC). He has created more than $20 billion in shareholder value and driven some of the largest cybersecurity IPOs and M&A deals in history. Serves on the boards of Delta Air Lines (Chairman of Safety & Security) and Exelon Corporation. Also a committed public servant: served four U.S. presidential administrations on the President's National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC) and as former Vice Chair of CISA's Cybersecurity Advisory Committee. Holds a BS and PhD in computer and information science from the University of Delaware.
