Elena García Armada

Co-founder and CEO of Marsi Bionics, a Spanish spin-off developing wearable robotic exoskeletons for children and adults with gait pathologies. A PhD roboticist and researcher at CSIC (Spain's National Research Council) with 20 years of experience in walking robots, she led the team that built the world's first pediatric bionic exoskeleton for children with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and cerebral palsy.

Her internationally patented ARES joint technology emulates natural muscle behavior via biomimicry. Winner of the European Inventor Award 2022.
