John Rasmussen
Professor John Rasmussen is a professor of biomechanics and robotics at Aalborg University and co-inventor of the CXD spherical hinge mechanism used in Liftya's shoulder brace. He has 20 years in MedTech R&D. The technology traces back to Aalborg University's Compact X-scissors Device, which won the 2018 WearRAcon Innovation Challenge. He is part of the DynAI-Brace consortium that secured a 1M EUR Eurostars grant.
