Joshua Baer

Founder and CEO of Capital Factory (2009–2026), Austin's most active early-stage investor and startup accelerator. An Eisenhower Fellow and Henry Crown Fellow, he previously founded Skylist, OtherInbox, and Postup, and co-founded Austin Startup Week. Died June 16, 2026 in a plane crash near Laredo, Texas.
