Josiah Gruber

CEO of Scout Space, a space domain awareness company building in-space sensor networks for real-time orbital tracking. He holds an MS from Dartmouth College, where he studied biomedical optics, and a BS in computer engineering from Syracuse University. Before Scout, he spent 15+ years in remote sensing across optical and RF systems, including roles as RF Sensor Systems Manager at Maxar Technologies and positions at Logos Technologies and Aurora Insight.

He joined Scout Space in 2023 as a senior payload systems engineer, rose to VP of Engineering, then CTO, and became CEO in late 2025.
