KC Liu

Founder and Chairman of Advantech Co., Ltd., the world's largest industrial PC maker with a 41% market share. Born Liu Ko-chen (劉克振); cofounded Advantech in 1983 at age 29 with two colleagues from HP Taiwan, where he was previously an R&D and sales engineer in the Instrument Department.

Holds a Bachelor of Engineering from National Chiao Tung University. Under his 40+ year leadership, Advantech has become a global leader in industrial IoT, edge AI computing, and embedded platforms used in robot control systems, factory automation, and intelligent transportation. His sons Wesley and Tony serve on the Advantech board.
