Dr. Khalil Najafi

Schlumberger Professor of Engineering and Arthur F. Thurnau Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan. Co-founder of Intelligent Sensor Systems (ISS), a MEMS-based sensing products company spun out of his University of Michigan research.

A world-recognized leader in MEMS, integrated sensors, and microsystems, he received the 2013 IEEE Sensors Technical Field Award for leadership in microsystem technologies and seminal contributions to inertial sensors and hermetic wafer-level packaging. Fellow of IEEE and AIMBE. Earned B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. (1986) in Electrical Engineering, all from the University of Michigan.
