Academician Li Deyi

Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (elected 1999) and Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence. Born November 28, 1944 in Taixian County, Jiangsu Province, he holds the rank of Major General and is also an academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences (2004).

He earned his PhD from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh (1983) and has served as Dean of the School of Computer Science at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (2008) and Dean of the Robotics College at Beijing Union University (2016). Chief Scientist of Trunk.Tech and recipient of the Wu Wenjun AI Science and Technology Award.
