Luca Rossettini

Founder and CEO of D-Orbit, a space logistics company pioneering orbital transfer vehicles with its ION Satellite Carrier. Italian aerospace engineer who served as an airborne officer in the Italian military before earning a Masters in Aerospace Engineering and a PhD in Advanced Space Propulsion.

Won a Fulbright scholarship in 2009 and completed a Technology Entrepreneurship program in Silicon Valley, followed by an internship at NASA Ames Research Center before founding D-Orbit in 2011. Named a finalist for the European Inventor Award 2023 for the D-Orbiter Decommissioning Device (D3).
